**Getting Started With Library Research**

An overview of where to start your research journey

Find your space at the GTU library!

gtu libraryHow do you prefer to work: Collaboratively or Quietly?

The GTU upper level (the level you enter on) is great for groups, collaboration, and talking. There are tables for groups along the back wall and near the Current Periodicals section and carrels for working alone near the Reference Collection.

Prefer quiet? Try the lower level. It’s a good place if you don’t like background chatter. The study carrels around the edge of the building are a silent zone. We try to keep the noise on the upper level, so let us know if anyone is disturbing you.

Need a reserveable room for a small group? We have two. Visit or call the GTU circulation desk to get a key or reserve up to a week in advance for GTU students and faculty. The rooms are available in 2-hour time slots.

Study Room Use Policy

No matter where you work, please keep phone conversations and food outside.

Note for GTU students, faculty, & staff: if it's your first time connecting to the GTU wireless, please visit the IT helpdesk (located under the PSR chapel) during business hours to have your device configured for the campus-wide network.

Visitors and CAL students, see us for information on the guest wifi.

Find your space at the SFTS branch library!

Study carrels are located throughout the library's levels for solitary study.

Need a group space? We have a Feminist Reading Room on level 5 that is available. It is first come, first served. The key is available at the SFTS library desk.
