How do you prefer to work: Collaboratively or Quietly?
The northwest corner tables, as well as the circular table in the middle of the reference collection, is great for groups, collaboration, and talking. There are carrels for working alone along the east and south walls. These study carrels around the edge of the building are a silent zone. We try to keep the noise confined to areas with tables, so please let a library staff member know if there's too much noise in an area marked for quiet study.
Need a reserveable room for a small group? We have Seminar B available for groups up to 10 people. The room is available in 2-hour time slots. Reserve the room online or email library@gtu.edu for assistance.
No matter where you work, please keep phone conversations short and quiet. Use headphones when listening to audio or participating in a virtual meeting.
Visitors and CAL students, see us for information on the guest wifi.
At the SFTS branch in San Anselmo, the reference room is available for quiet study.
Study carrels are located throughout the library's levels for solitary study.
Need a group space? We have a Feminist Reading Room on level 5 that is available. You can reserve the room online or email the library staff for assistance. The key is available at the SFTS library desk.
